Project Linus Quilts

Discovered Project Linus Quilts. See there information here...

They came to our church.

Before momma passed i hadn't sewn or read a book in 3 years. Everything just kinda got put on hold.

The lady from project Linus said if all I could do was just sew 2 5" squares together it would help.

So I did that and returned them to her.

and I realized I could sew again.

It was such a peaceful experience.

I've  since seen some 4 patch blocks, some rail fence blocks and 20  2" strip, quarter  log cabin blocks.

And the top pictured above.

Then I made 30, disappearing 9 patch blocks which I'm going to finish into a throw for me.

Love this look...

it's made with doilies...

Krista Larson - wonderful ideas
Robin Kaplan - I love her designs.
Magnolia Pearl - does anyone wear bloomers anymore.

local store Absolutely Abigails in Shreveport. Check out the prices. I can so sew this style.

I love these looks of rumpled, feminine clothing. I need to get back to sewing.
