Day 15 - Albuquerque Balloon Festival...

On the drive home we knew that it was the last weekend of the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, but we were an hour and a half away.  We saw on TV that the last morning, Saturday, is when they do the Mass Ascension, where all the balloons lift off, this is the picture everyone thinks of when you hear about  the festival.  But since we were not going to be there in person.  I got pictures off the TV of the reporters who were there that morning.

First balloon up...

By the time we got to Albuquerque we only saw one balloon still in the air. But this lady was actually there if you want to also look at her photos...

she has more pictures of the
shaped balloons...
