Beautiful Sunset
My Christmas present to myself...
A Pioneer Woman Tea set and another small table runner.
It also has 4 cups which we use everyday.
Girls did an excellent job at their first gymnastics meet this year...
Found an embroidered runner, I had purchased at a thrift store in Enid, OK, to place on Grandma's little dresser. Now it looks more like how I remember it growing up.
** Did some more research on this little dresser...
I think it is an "1890's Princess Dresser", I asked my Mom if she knew how old it was, I was thinking 1930's, but she said Grandma and Grandpa never had anything new. They always got stuff handed down. So after more research I found out they were married in 1928. So I looked back online and discovered the Princess Dresser.
A CIRCA 1890 PRINCESS WISHBONE MIRROR DRESSER
For those who aren't aware since I can't reach my feet (bilateral hip replacements) I use a "sock aid" to help put on my socks and an extra long shoe horn, which also helps getting dressed. you see those on the right side of the dresser.
Finished sewing the top of my "Trip Around the World Quilt"...
I just need to add some "piano key"
edging to the sides to make it a bit wider.
