DIY Arm Knitting - 30 Minute Inifinity Scarf

I found this "you tube"video when I was searching on how to make the Sashay Yarn scarves,
so I just had to try it...

It took me about 1 1/2 hours... not too shabby.

I had to re-watch the beginning several times to get the first stitches on

for a couple years we actually had 6 dogs and 2 cats...

but Amanda and Charles moved back and we returned their 3 dogs to them this past summer.

A year ago we lost Colby...

but we still have Dallas, she's 15 years old now.

Thursday we had to let Dusty go, he was diagnosed in July with a bad heart...

He was 12 1/2 years old.

We loved him too...

BUT we still have...

Lilly, she's our big baby...

 and Sue, she's a Daddy's girl...

together they are "SILLY",

Sue + Lilly, get it? 

Okay, I know it's corny but it made me laugh.

 We received a card from the vet afterward which had this poem inside...

stay cool...

until we meet again...

Christmas Presents...

that night we went to "Garvin Woodland Gardens" to look at lights...

my favorite was the tree, it lit to Christmas music...

A MARY Christmas...

Emily was in her first Christmas Program at the Church...

It was a really Special Evening.

They did a wonderful job and Baby Jesus was in very good hands...

Leah and Megan came to watch their big sister.

He's very friendly.

Somebody is going to play Mary in the Christmas Pageant.

Mantle is up...

got it together, brought it in to dry...

now just need to stain it, the rest (bead board and shelves) will be white

Ladies Luncheon...

Amanda's church had a Ladies Luncheon Saturday,

 where they each decorated a table for their invited guests. 

 Some very talented ladies.  As you can tell by the tables. 

 The Speaker was wonderful and sang beautifully.  It was a really nice time.
