for a couple years we actually had 6 dogs and 2 cats...
but Amanda and Charles moved back and we returned their 3 dogs to them this past summer.
A year ago we lost Colby...
but we still have Dallas, she's 15 years old now.
Thursday we had to let Dusty go, he was diagnosed in July with a bad heart...
He was 12 1/2 years old.
We loved him too...
BUT we still have...
Lilly, she's our big baby...
and Sue, she's a Daddy's girl...
together they are "SILLY",
Sue + Lilly, get it?
Okay, I know it's corny but it made me laugh.
We received a card from the vet afterward which had this poem inside...
stay cool...
until we meet again...
