Okay, this may not mean anything to anybody else, but I have read the blog "Chickens in the Road" for several months now and just last month she finally got her chickens. If you are interested go to her blog (link on the right) and go to her calender she has on the right side start around the end of March and watch how she gets the eggs from a neighbor and incubates them to baby chicks. this is really cool to me, but maybe not to anybody else.
I will keep reading my book, they seem to be very needy, and I'm not sure my hour would be the same as chicken hour. I never realized chickens had hours. But its that dawn to dusk thing when I'm either sleeping or at work. Sure would be nice to have fresh eggs though.
