We got up early and crossed the Mississippi River before dawn.
Then we passed the Poseyville sign in Illinois.

We got into the Blue Ridge Mountains right before sunset, perfect lighting, a postcard scene with the mountains ranges in the background and a valley below with farms and red barns with white trim... Just beautiful...
but did I get the picture...No! The battery in the camera says its exhausted!
Exhausted? It's been riding in the car the whole time, you'd think we made it run alongside or something.
So sorry...that photo will have to wait until next trip.
