In January Kenneth started by removing the cabinet doors...
packed up the kitchen...
and moved it to the living room...
took out the stovetop, oven and removed both counter tops...
realized there isn't a whole lot to these cabinets. they were built in place...
make the decision to remove the base cabinets.
base cabinets coming out, I start stripping the white paint off the upper cabinets.
sanded it down by hand...
keep the decorative wood over the kitchen window???
I want it out, not sure how its attached though...

we wonder how the cabinets are attached??? What's behind the
panel on top?

discover the cabinets go all the way to the ceiling when we remove the paneling...
WHY??? Would you cover perfectly good cabinets with crappy paneling?
We're going to refinish them and take them all the way up.
