Sunflowers

As you can see the sunflowers are as tall as the roof, we quit measuring them for now, but they have started to make blooms.

Earlier this spring I signed up with "The Great Sunflower Project"

What they are asking is for people to sit out for 30 minutes each Saturday and watch one sunflower to see how many bees you have in your area. This is a way for them to gather information from all over the country.

Bees are very important for pollinating the plants which is one reason I think mine aren't doing so good. We hardly ever see any bees. Which is just fine with Kenneth but I'm thinking of planting some sort of bee garden, because I seriously doubt I could raise bees. All though fresh honey would be good.
